From production to postproduction, from Feature Documentary to Short Experimental, compositing has helped define the medium of video. Be introduced to the setup, lighting and shooting of a GREEN SCREEN setup w/ Dustin Wilson. This intensive one-day workshop will introduce participants to working with video compositing.

Dustin Wilson received his BFA from Mount Allison University and MFA from the University of Guelph. He describes his art practice as metafuturology: a discipline that studies prediction itself, providing a humanistic counterweight to instrumental pragmatism. His projects have been exhibited in galleries across Canada including SBC, Eastern Edge Gallery, Struts, Skol, AKA, and Modern Fuel. He has been featured as a cover story in Blackflash Magazine. Wilson has received funding from CALQ, the Canada Council for the Arts. He is a 2015 recipient of the OAC Chalmers Fellowship Grant to research digital media and interactivity.
