Ike, just like the word art, carries several interpretation. In Igbo it means Power, or Yansh (google it). In Japanese, it may either be a reference to a Pretty Girl or mini skirt.

The interpretation and the meaning you assign to it is totally up to you. But Ike in this context is a celebration of Afro Futurism. Art Power!!!

Come to Northern Contemporary this Sept 29th starting 8pm and see incredible artists interpret IKE : A celebration of afro futuristic art.
