It's been 1 year since Illumination Presents launched itself into the stratosphere, and we couldn't be more excited for the years beyond.
Join us in celebration of our own calendar year before buckling down for a winter of planning year 3 of the Illumination Music & Arts Festival along with some other epic parties to dazzle your eyes, make your hearts race, and make your feet move.
The festival started as a multi-company collaborative effort which has now molded itself into a single entity hosting events both in and out of the city limits known as Illumination Presents.
This will be our last event of 2015 and will be celebrating our 1 year anniversary so dress up fancy, get weird, or just be you and come share in some memories with us.
The Cage 292 at the corner of College and Spadina will play host for the night as part of their regular occurring Psychedelic Friday's theme, and have agreed to stay open late for us to dance to our hearts content. we have an incredible event planned for all you lovlies!!

Bass aficionado and Glitch Hop producer Defunk has been making a name for himself around the world. Whether playing shows at the legendary Red Rocks Amphitheater with Big Gigantic RL Grime Snails and Jauz, Headlining festivals like Envision Festival in Costa Rica, Sonic Bloom in Colorado for 10's of thousands of people, or doing remixes for artists like Pretty Lights, Opiuo, Griz, and Odesza. Defunk is making his mark on the Bass music world.
Defunk has taken funky bass music to a whole new level. Most popularly known for his attention of bringing elements of funk, jazz and blues into heavy bass music, he constantly strives to develop new sounds with new elements based around the idea of groove. Sexy sounds, funky rhythms, dirty drops, disco dancing, jazzy solos, and intriguing instruments can all be found in his catalogue. His intention is to constantly push the limit on what bass music is viewed as while still keeping the elements that make you want to dance.
