Kaeja D'dance Presents Re Generation: Etobicoke Dances says
Each Day there are 2 performances at 1pm and at 3pm. Please arrive early as there is limited space at each!

ReGeneration: Etobicoke Dances is a professional community dance performance that re-imagines the history of Montgomery's Inn through dance, art and and live music.

Every day residents of Etobicoke are paired with professional choreographers (Allen Kaeja, Karen Kaeja - featuring the brand new score played live by composer Chris Wilson, 2 musical pieces by Jill Lefaive and music from Ken Purvis; and choreograhers Lauren Cook, Jasmyn Fyffe) to create new dance works in various locations throughout the Inn.

Performed by local seniors, adults and youth, ReGeneration also features: senior residents of Etobicoke, Kaeja company dancers, Etobicoke School of the Arts and The Music Studio students, as well as an art display with works by visual artists from Creative Village. Everyone is invited to participate in Karen's Flock Landing finale. Spearheaded by Allen, ReGeneration is a wonderful celebration of community and a moving reminder that dance and art is for everyone!

ReGeneration is presented in community partnership with:
Montgomery's Inn, Arts Etobicoke, Lakeshore Arts, The Music Studio, Creative Village Studio, and Village of Islington BIA.

The project is part of Animating Historic Sites: a partnership between Toronto Arts Council and City of Toronto Museums & Heritage Services, and a 3-year Community Engagement project funded by the Metcalf Foundation.
