The event creator says
Hi Everyone! After six years at U of T....... you're invited to my Graduating Master's Recital in Accordion Performance! Admission is free.

I'm excited to feature both of my duos: Double-Double Duo with Kornel Wolak on clarinet for Lutosławski's Five Dance Preludes, and M2 duo with Michael Murphy on percussion.

Italian composers Davide Coppola and Silvio Bartoli wrote pieces for M2, which we premiered this year, for which we are very happy to be joined by Tristan Durie on flute and Juan Olivares on bass clarinet.

I will also perform Gubaidulina's seminal accordion sonata, Et Expecto, as well as my transcription of Bach's French Suite No. 5 in G major.

Bio: Concert-accordionist Michael Bridge, one of CBC’s “30 Hot Classical Musicians Under 30”, is internationally renowned for his commanding stage-presence and versatility. He received the Lieutenant Governor’s Emerging Artist medal (Alberta), and won the Canadian Digital Accordion Championships and the University of Toronto Concerto Competition, where he studies accordion performance. Michael continually performs new music and has premiered over 30 works. He has been profiled by CBC Radio, CTV and the Toronto Star, boldly redefining the sound and image of his traditional instrument.
