Canadian Lesbian & Gay Archives (CLGA) says
Director Nancy Nicol, through her many years of filmmaking, has brought to life 40 years of lesbian and gay rights movement history in Canada through the voices of activists, community leaders, and human rights lawyers, combined with a rich resource of rarely seen archival materials. The collection in particular showcases shorts and excerpts from the award-winning documentary series From Criminality to Equality. The Canadian Lesbian + Gay Archives is happy to launch this digital collection to increase the access to Canada's LGBTQ+ heritage.

Speakers include: Rachel Epstein, founder of the LGBTQ+ Parenting Network, Mona Greenbaum, Directrice générale Coalition des familles LGBT, Tom Warner, prolific gay rights activist and author, and filmmaker Nancy Nicol.

Community partners of the launch include the Centre for Feminist Research, Inside-Out LGBTQ+ Film Festival, and V-Tape.
