Harbourfront Centre says
Armband is a new creation by Human Body Expression’s founder and director Hanna Kiel, performed by a cast of seven of Toronto’s most prominent dance artists. The narrative work follows an intimate community as they navigate their social environment and the effect of strategic choices which weave their way through interactions, manipulations and their desire for favour or influence. A full-length work, Armband explores the implications of power of authority and corruption, and how these archetypes affect both individuals’ actions and the greater community.

Join us on Friday, Nov. 13 for a post-performance Q&A.
