Carole Langille is the author of poetry, short story collections and children’s books that have been nominated for the Governor General’s Award and the Atlantic Poetry Prize. Her latest book, I Am What I Am Because You Are What You Are, has been nominated for the Alistair MacLeod Award for Short Fiction. She is the artist/writer in residence at the Dalhousie Medical School and teaches creative writing at Dalhousie University.

Gwen Benaway is of Anishinaabe and Métis descent. Her first collection of poetry, Ceremonies for the Dead, was published in 2013 and her second collection of poetry, Passage, is forthcoming from Kegedonce Press in fall 2016. As emerging Two-Spirited poet, she has been described as the spiritual love child of Thompson Highway and Truman Capote. Her work has been published and anthologized internationally.

Emily Pohl-Weary’s latest books are Ghost Sick, poetry about tragedy and resilience in downtown Toronto, and Not Your Ordinary Wolf Girl, a girl werewolf novel. Her previous books include a Hugo Award-winning biography, a ghost love story, a female superhero anthology, and a girl pirate comic. Having grown up in Toronto, she is currently living in Halifax and teaching creative writing at Dalhousie University.
