Pleasence Records 5 Year Anniversary! says
2015 marks Pleasence Records 5 year anniversary and we're throwing a show with past and present bands to celebrate.

One of the first Pleasence releases was the Soupcans first EP, Erotic Nightmare. We also put out the limited edition Altered States cassette, which contains some of their rawest material.

New Fries
Pleasence was excited and honored to have put out the first releases from Toronto's favorite no-wave art-punks, New Fries, Fresh Face Forward and their latest split with Old & Weird.

Blonde Elvis
Pitchfork said "Brit Invasion melodies, heavenly harmonies, bridge-crashing choruses, falsettoed middle-eights, and flute solos into two minutes flat, as if Robert Pollard was holding a gun to his head." One of our hardest working new bands on Pleasence, Blonde Elvis's On Vanity is an intelligent pop record for people who like to drink while they read.

You just might be seeing more of these warbly psych-poppers on Pleasence in the future (wink wink). They sound like a tropical have of chopped and screwed disco melting around your brain. One of Toronto's best new bands.

Due to unfortunate circumstances Odonis Odonis cannot play this show. We are all still friends and wish them the best. Still can't bare to take down their bio though.
Odonis Odonis
Before they toured the world, Pleasence put of the vinyl edition of their debut album, Hollandaze, with Buzz and DAPS Records. They haven't played a venue this small in some time, so don't miss this rare performance.

DJs Batdance & Partyman (Toughage).

All for $10!
