Centre for Women and Trans People - Ryerson says
The Racialised and Indigenous Women’s Symposium is an annual event hosted by the Centre for Women and Trans People - Ryerson, Racialised Students' Collective and the Indigenous Students' Association of Ryerson. It is a space for Indigenous and Racialised women to share their experiences and provide a safer space for unpacking the many oppressions that Racialised and indigenous women and trans folks face.

This year, our symposium will take place on Saturday, March 19th and is currently in the planning process.

***Please note that this is a space women-identified people only. This is a trans-inclusive space.****

Email Leizl at womenandtrans@rsuonline.ca to get involved as much, or as little, as you want. We are looking for help to determine themes, workshop ideas, speakers, performers, discussion topics and everything in between.

The organisers strives to create inclusive, and accessible spaces for all of our members. If we require accommodations to ensure your participation please send an email to equity@rsuonline.ca.

The Racialised Students' Collective is one of the six Equity Service Centres of the Ryerson Students' Union which includes: RyeACCESS, Rye Pride, RU Trans Collective, Good Food Centre and Centre for Women and Trans People - Ryerson
