With rumours that the Trudeau Liberals are inching closer to ratifying the Trans Pacific Partnership, we need your help to urgently scale up our Reject TPP campaign in Toronto. Simply put, the TPP is bad for our health, jobs, and human rights. This month, along with a national coalition, we are sending a clear message with your voice that we are against this trade deal!

Join our Reject TPP Toronto Campaign Kickoff event on Thursday to find out how you can take action this month to let our government know that we are against it (already over 100 RSVPs for the event!).

Speakers include:
Tori Cress (Idle No More Ontario)
Sakura Saunders (Mining Injustice Solidarity Network)
more to be confirmed.

You will have a chance to listen to perspectives from different community members in Toronto who are affected by the TPP and following the trade deal closely.

We will offer you specific ways for you to engage with the campaign and how you can contibute to the day of action in Toronto taking place on November 23. If you are interested in volunteering and helping out, this is the place to learn more!

We are gong to get out onto the streets of Toronto and let the government know that we reject the TPP deal!

In collaboration with a rally outside Chrystia Freeland's office on November 4, we will be doing an artbuild and making signs too!

After the event, we will be encouraging people to go to the demonstration at Dundas Square in solidarity with Standing Rock. We can see how corporate power continues to stifle resistance by indigenous land defenders and water protectors at Standing Rock and dangerous trade deals like the TPP will continue to give more power to corporations unless we stop it.

This collective movement is about people power, not corporate power.

And we need you !
