THE SHYNESS OF STRANGERS (Toronto, ON)
The Shyness of Strangers is Vadim Kristopher, a Polish born Canadian who spends most of his life adrift, but comfortable alone. Exploring sonic landscapes with repetitive themes through corridors of human emotion, loudly. His Deep vocals, reverb soaked guitar and distorted synthesizers are like a fuel you can dance to in the cold. Drawing inspiration from life's more melancholy moments, but deafening the sadness as his music turns the sorrow into celebration.

THE FOREIGN RESORT (Copenhagen, Denmark)
The Foreign Resort are Denmark's finest musical export of post-punk and dark new wave. Led by singer and songwriter Mikkel Borbjerg Jakobsen, TFR combine the shadowy mysticism of The Cure's Pornography era with a driving production aesthetic akin to LCD Soundsystem. Intricate reverb-enveloped guitar lines glide over Steffan Petersen's motorik bass and Morten Hansen's powerful drumming, all while Mikkel's taut and sincere vocal delivery demand your attention. TFR have toured the USA relentlessly, addicted to the allure of America's lost highways.

NITE (Dallas, Texas)
NITE are Canadian-born twin brothers, Kyle and Myles Mendes, based in Dallas, TX. The duo create a unique hybrid of electronic dream-pop music with a foray into rock. Their strong dueling vocals might remind oneself of Tears for Fears' Roland Orzabal and Curt Smith, with a delivery of tasteful guitar hooks amidst bright synthesizers and throbbing drum machines.

DEPRESSION ERA (Toronto, ON)
Moody, alternative-electronic songs crafted by hand and machine.
