The Power Plant Contemporary Art Gallery says
During our FREE Sunday Scene talks, speakers from the world of art and beyond offer their responses to the current exhibitions. Whether focusing on a single work/artist or on multiple exhibitions, guest presenters draw provocative connections between our programs and broader cultural and intellectual debates.

Tamara Toledo is a Toronto-based curator, arts administrator, visual artist and educator. She is the co-founder of the Allende Arts Festival and of Latin American Canadian Art Projects (LACAP) and is currently Director/Curator at Sur Gallery. In 2008, Toledo received the Canada Council for the Arts Grants to Culturally Diverse Curators for Residencies in the Visual Arts allowing her to implement programs at A Space Gallery, where she launched the first Latin American Speakers Series. Toledo will discuss Yto Barrada’s exhibition Faux Guide.
