The Toronto Poetry Project is proud to present our annual all-female and gender non binary slam which determines who will represent Toronto at the Women of the World Poetry Slam (http://wowps2016.com/) tournament in Brooklyn from March 9-12, 2016!

Doors: 7pm; show: 8pm
Entry: $10 at the door
All ages

This is an invite-only slam (since female and gender non binary poets need to have slammed at least twice to qualify).

*Attention poets:
The format is a bit different to prepare you for WOWps.
(A 10 second grace period for each round still applies.)
Maximum poets = 12
Round 1 = 3 minutes
Round 2 = 1 minute
Half of the poets compete in the second half.
Round 3 = 2 minutes
Half of that group go to next round.
Round 4 = 4 minutes
*All other standard slam rules apply.

Accessibility:
The venue has several steps to get inside. Once inside everything is on one level. Go to the back for the show.
The bathrooms are on the same level but are not wheelchair accessible.
