The Mercy Now: 9:20pm
The Mercy Now is an original rock and roll trio from Toronto with an ever evolving sound spanning ten years. Lee Rogers, David Viva and Russell Fernandes channel their love of soul, hard rock, punk and pop to make up a truly unique sound, which is their proudest accomplishment.
"When you find yourself involuntarily banging your head 10 seconds into an album and the hard-rock fever doesn’t break until the end, that’s a very good sign."

Paul Reddick & band: 10:25pm
Melding poetry, mystery, darkness and light, along with an extensive knowledge of the history and traditions of blues music is what makes 2017 JUNO winner-Paul Reddick on of the most popular figures on the blues and roots music scene today. For over 25 years he’s been writing and performing his eclectic brand of blues, bringing the art form to new frontiers with his rapacious, deep vocals, masterful harmonica playing and songwriting. As the unofficial poet laureate of Canadian blues, words are his weapon of choice and when he sings, it is near impossible not to listen and get lost within the songs, right alongside him and illustrating what the influential British magazine Mojo described as his “wayward brilliance.”

Quique Escamilla & band: 11:30pm
"Unassuming…a very promising debut recording." –Marc Fournier, Songlines Magazine, UK.
"…Quique is a unique talent who holds to the traditions of heavyweights like Bob Marley and Manu Chao. Quique is really one to watch!" -Garvia Bailey, CBC Radio.
Winner of the 2015 JUNO for world music, for his album "500 Years of Night" on the Lulaworld Record Label. Mexican singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Quique Escamilla also won a Canadian Folk Music Award in 2014.
Quique breaks down language barriers through his powerful voice and passionate delivery while fusing traditional Mexican styles and other diverse Latin American rhythms; accompanied with powerful lyrics and messages inspired by and to support social and political causes such as indigenous rights, immigration reform, anti-racism, global conservation, etc.
