TIFF Next Wave says
This February 12–14, TIFF will transform into a veritable film paradise for young film lovers + fanatics. We'll have free(!) movies for high-school students, a stellar line-up of guests and Q&A sessions, industry workshops, the 24-Hour Film Challenge, and the always epic kickoff at Battle of the Scores. Did we mention there's free wifi throughout the building? You might never want to leave.

✨Highlights of this year's TIFF Next Wave Programming include✨⬇️

- Sara Blecher's South Africian feature AYANDA, from Ava DuVernay's film distribution company ARRAY
- Michel Gondry (of Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind fame)'s newest film Microbe & Gasoline
- Chloé Zhao’s Spirit Awards nominated SONGS MY BROTHERS TAUGHT ME
- Classics like David Fincher's THE SOCIAL NETWORK, Nick Cassavetes' The Notebook, Terry Zwigoff's Ghost World, Wes Anderson's Bottle Rocket, and the Leonardo DiCaprio led The Basketball Diaries
