We're baaaack!

Our 2017 season begins with a bang featuring one of the most electrifying poets in the U.S.!

As always, anyone can rock the mic at our slam or open mic. For our slam, be sure to have 3 poems available in case you make it to the final round. For the open mic, one poem/piece at 4 minutes max

Franny Choi is a National Poetry Slam finalist, a Project VOICE teaching artist, and the author of Floating, Brilliant, Gone (Write Bloody Publishing, 2014). She has received awards from the Poetry Foundation and the Rhode Island State Council on the Arts. Her new chapbook Death by Sex Machine is forthcoming from Sibling Rivalry Press. She is a Kundiman Fellow and a member of the Dark Noise Collective.
