Bob Marley Returns To Brazil, but this time around he meets the vibrant land of Samba Reggae, Salvador, Bahia, Brazil. A energetic tribute to Bob marley by Afro-brazilian drumming band TDot Batu, Wurl Trema band and Horns of Bard from the Club. DJ Iron Lion will have the smooth reggae vibes going the whole night!
TDot Batu is a tightly knit Afro-Brazilian percussion batucada inspired by the power and dedicated to the study of the rich rhythmic tradition born out of the fusion of samba and reggae from Salvador, Bahia. As integral part of the Toronto Tropical music scene we collaborate with members of the arts and music community to create spectacular participatory celebrations that reflect the vast color and energy of Brazilian culture.
Bard From The Club is a 7 piece reggae band based out of Toronto available for all your reggae needs. They specialize in lovers rock/rock steady .The horns section will be featured in this big Bob Marley Tribute along side TDot Batu.
Wurl Trema Band is a 4 piece reggae band with one of the best musicians in the reggae scene in the city. Main vocal and also band leader COMFORT will be the man who will make us dance and remember BOB in this beautiful night.
DJ Iron Lion , Strictly Roots/Rock/Reggae/Dancehall , for over 15 years , playing in different venues in the city , he wil be in charg to drop the niddle and give you the best selections for the night.
