The event creator says
You're probably aware that our federal government has pledged to take in 25,000 Syrian refugees before the end of the year. You can help to make our new friends and neighbours more comfortable in their first winter here by donating your gently worn clothing at The Ossington next Saturday.

Come out from 2pm to 6pm, drop off some clothes, learn more about the cause, and have a few drinks.

All donations will be accepted but there's a particular need for decent winter stuff for young adults and also new socks and underwear.

Donations will be delivered to New Circles Community Services and distributed to their clients, which includes all Syrian families settling in the GTA with the help of Lifeline Syria. Cash donations also accepted, and will be donated to Lifeline Syria.

If you'd like to help out, we could use a hand sorting donations and transporting them to the drop off centre. PM us.

We hope to see you on Saturday. Your generosity is dearly appreciated!
