The Internet proved itself once again via disproportionate reactions to a basically meaningless event, courtesy of Starbucks' "unity-themed" green cups (which aren't the holiday cups that will be rolled out some time soon and that will undoubtedly unleash an even more intense public wrath).

Our reaction to the public's reaction? There are more offensive things in life than a green coffee cup. These include, but are not limited to:

1. Humans who don't know the difference between they're, their and there.

2. Kale being considered real food (someone tell us where kale was 20 years ago).

3. The "Kim Kardashian was robbed" Halloween costume.

4. People ordering a "Bay Breeze" or a "Sex on the Beach" at the bar.

5. Starbucks misspelling your name every single time.

6. Student debt.

7. Wi-Fi unavailability.

8. The price of organic foods.

9. Out of focus food photos and/or pictures of obviously unappetizing food.

10. Extremely long Snapchat stories about absolutely nothing.

11. People that wear leggings as pants.

12. This being considered news.

13. Cher's Twitter account not being considered a national treasure.

15. The "not enough storage" alert on your iPhone.

16. Anyone speaking to us before we have our morning coffee.

17. TV show spoilers that are not properly labeled as spoilers.

18. ICYM, TFW, NSFW being part of anyone's vocabulary.

19. This:
