Time to celebrate, muggles! Today marks the 20th anniversary of the publication of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, effectively rendering June 26 one of the most important days in literary history.

Other than consuming endless amounts of butterbeer ice cream, ceaselessly chatting about the merits of J.K. Rowling's fictional world and hosting a major movie marathon of all the books' film adaptations, you can celebrate all things Potter by, of course, taking to social media.

Twitter has partnered with Pottermore and Bloomsbury Publishing to create a special emoji to mark the occasion. Use hashtag #HarryPotter20 to summon this awesome image:

Facebook users who type Harry Potter, Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff or Slytherin in their posts will see the words highlighted in color and, of course, an animation of a spell-casting wand taking over their Facebook page for a few seconds.

Android phone users have it best, though: Those who use voice control can instruct their phones with famous spells from the book ("lumos," "nox" or "silencio") and their Google assistant will automatically activate the torch and turn on silent mode. That is magic indeed.
