The family-friendly cruise line is taking care of the grownups, too, with more kid-free cruises starting next month.

Carnival Cruise Line has cultivated its image as the ultimate family-friendly "Fun Ship" vacation, offering high-energy activities, waterslides, plenty of pizza and great setups for multi-generational family groups. But for travelers who crave the buzzy atmosphere of a mega-ship without sharing the Lido deck with hundreds of kids, the U.S. cruise line is expanding its concepts aimed strictly at the grownups.

Through its Sailings Exclusively for Adults (SEA) program, Carnival is rolling out new dedicated 21-and-over departures from five key U.S. homeports: New York City, Miami, Tampa, Galveston and Los Angeles.
Rather than just reserving a quiet corner like the ship’s Serenity retreat deck for adults, these sailings transform the entire ship into a 21+ playground from bow to stern. Guests can look forward to splash-free main pools, easily accessible hot tubs, peaceful hallways and evening entertainment featuring punchier, uncensored comedy sets and vibrant nightlife.
Originally launched as an invite-only perk primarily for frequent cruisers and casino guests, the SEA program shifts the onboard vibe entirely. Without family programming, main dining room menus are more elevated, sun chairs remain open throughout the afternoon and the overall atmosphere leans towards a Vegas-style resort.
The expanded schedule of sailings includes a diverse lineup over the coming months:
Now open for general booking to anyone 21 and older, these unique voyages offer empty nesters, solo travelers and friend groups the opportunity to enjoy all the fun of a mega-ship cruise without having to keep things PG.
