Wendy’s isn’t the only burger chain celebrating National Cheeseburger Day—McDonald’s getting in on the game with a deal that’s almost too good to be true.

On Wednesday, September 18, you can snag a double cheeseburger for just 50 cents. Yes, you read that right. For less than a buck, McDonald’s is offering their cheesy, two-patty treat in honor of the iconic sandwich. All you have to do is order through the McDonald’s app—no purchase required.

But the deals don’t stop there. McDonald’s announced that its wallet-friendly $5 Meal Deal, which has been a hit for hungry customers, is sticking around until December. This sweet combo lets you choose between a McDouble or McChicken sandwich, fries, chicken McNuggets and a soft drink. All for five bucks.

And just when you thought it couldn’t get any better, McDonald’s Free Fries Fridays are still going strong. Back in June, the fast food giant announced they'd be giving away free fries every Friday for the rest of 2024. Simply spend at least $1, and the free medium fries are yours. So whether you’re craving a cheeseburger deal or those crispy golden fries, McDonald’s has your back with a deal to match, all year long (except the double cheeseburger—grab it for 50 cents on Wednesday!).
