Starbucks is looking past Halloween and pumpkin spice, and sleighing right into the holiday season. The coffee giant just announced that its 2025 holiday menu is returning to locations nationwide on November 6. They're bringing back fan-favorite drinks, festive treats and Red Cup Day—the annual seasonal celebration for coffee fans.
The holiday headliners this year are the usual suspects: the Peppermint Mocha, Caramel Brulée Latte and Iced Sugar Cookie Latte. There’s also the Iced Gingerbread Chai, blending oat milk and chai spices under a fluffy layer of gingerbread-flavored cold foam.

But the real showstopper is the long-awaited return of the Eggnog Latte. First introduced in 1986, the cult favorite disappeared from menus in 2021, sparking years of social media outcry and even a fan-led campaign begging for its comeback. Starbucks took note and announced that later this season the Eggnog Latte will make its grand return alongside the Chestnut Praline Latte.
Starbucks’ bakery case is getting a winter makeover too. Seasonal staples like the Snowman Cookie, Cranberry Bliss Bar and Sugar Plum Cheese Danish are back, joined by newcomers including the Polar Bear Cake Pop and Cinnamon Pull-Apart Bread.
Starbucks also announced that yes, Red Cup Day is coming back. The annual event sees customers score a free collectible reusable cup with the purchase of any handcrafted holiday beverage. It’s a small, sustainable perk that’s become a holiday tradition of its own. While the date of Red Cup Day 2025 has not been announced, fan can speculate based on previous years. Red Cup Day was held on November 14 last year, November 16 in 2023, November 17 in 2022 and November 18 in 2021—all Thursdays.
If you can’t wait until November 6, Starbucks has already rolled out its holiday coffees and creamers at grocery stores like Target and Walmart—because it’s never too early for peppermint-flavored anything.
