It's almost too good to be true, like access to a Super Mushroom just when you're coming across a brick wall. Last Friday, the highly-anticipated Super Nintendo World opened at Universal Studios Hollywood—and now it's for real about it opening soon in Orlando, too. As reported by Travel + Leisure, the Florida version will likely open in 2025 in tandem with the Epic Universe Park. It will be the third such immersive, 360-degree land, joining Japan in hosting our favorite overall-clad buddy.

It's not a complete shocker, since as the Points Guy points out, people knew something was coming since it's hard to build a theme park on 750 acres without anyone noticing. It's unclear how much of the previous two iterations the Florida site will incorporate, but we assume there will be a green pipe portal and Piranha Plants aplenty.

The Hollywood site, which opened Friday, has augmented reality challenges and a way to earn the much-needed (digital) golden coins, plus colorful, playful structures incorporating much of the imagery from the more than 200 games in the Mario franchise. Competitive visitors can track their play against everyone else there as the rankings are displayed throughout the park on screens.

2025 will be here before we know it, and we'll be able to put on our super big brown shoes and kick some butt. Don't forget we are also looking forward to a Universal Studios site in Texas and new lands in Orlando, like a hinted-at Stranger Things ride and a for-sure Minions Land.
