Live from New York, it's (almost) Saturday Night! Yes, yet another season of NBC's long-running sketch-comedy series Saturday Night Live is about to kick off later this month and Lorne Michaels and Co. have put together quite the opening lineup of guest hosts and musical artists.

Starting September 26, SNL will air live every Saturday night at 11:30pm EST on NBC and Peacock. And while we don’t know what zany sketches the cast has up their sleeves, we do know who will be joining them to make us laugh.

Below, check out the starry guests for SNL's first four episodes of the season, which will air between September 26 through October 31. (Note: The show takes a two-week break between October 10 and October 31.)

1: Jalen Brunson / KATSEYE (September 26)

Even if you're not a basketball fan, you no doubt know about Jalen Brunson, who helped lead the New York Knicks to a championship win this summer for the first time in 53 years. Brunson also deservedly snagged the title of Most Valuable Player of the 2026 NBA Finals. The athlete will make his Saturday Night Live debut as the first guest host of season 52.

Also making their SNL debut, the Grammy Award-nominated girl group KATSEYE will serve as musical guest during the season premiere. The ladies recently released their third EP, "WILD," and are currently on their sold out “WILDWORLD” tour.

2. Dakota Johnson / Turnstile (October 3)

Actress Dakota Johnson—who stars in the upcoming Colleen Hoover adaptation film Verity, which will hit theaters on October 2 and co-stars Anne Hathaway and Josh Hartnett—will be back as guest host for the third time.

She will be joined by Grammy-winning hardcore rock band Turnstile, who perform as SNL musical guest for the very first time. They just kicked off their “NEVER ENOUGH Tour Pt. 2” across North America.

3. Shane Gillis / Rosalía (October 10)

Comedian-actor Shane Gillis was infamously fired from the Saturday Night Live cast just five days after landing the gig in 2019 due to backlash over his use of Asian ethnic slurs. Yet, the performer has been welcomed back to Studio 8H twice before as guest host and will make his third return for the October 10 edition. Gillis recently broke two Guinness World Records with his sold-out performance at Philadelphia’s Lincoln Financial Field, and his Netflix sitcom Tires was just renewed for a fourth season.

That same episode, Grammy-winner Rosalía will perform on SNL as musical guest for the second time. The Spanish singer-songwriter just wrapped her global “Lux” tour.

4. Inde Navarrette / Gracie Abrams (October 31)

Hot off of her breakout role in the 2025 supernatural horror flick Obsession, actress Inde Navarrette will fittingly make. her Saturday Night Live hosting debut during the season's Halloween episode. The 25-year-old actress will next be seen as Rogue in the upcoming X-Men film.

Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Gracie Abrams will be back as SNL musical guest for the second time, ahead of her  “The Look at My Life” tour this December.

Time Out will keep you posted on all upcoming Saturday Night Live guest hosts and musical artists, so stay tuned!
