Hispanic Heritage Month is in full swing, and Spirit Airlines wants to help you celebrate it not just in spirit, but in person. The budget-friendly carrier has rolled out a limited-time sale with one-way flights starting at just $55 to the country's most dynamic Latin cultural hubs.

Between September 15 and October 15, cities across the U.S. spotlight the food, art and traditions of Hispanic communities that have shaped their identities for generations. Spirit’s sale is an open invitation to join the party.

With flights starting at just $58.99, you can head to Miami for a dose of Cuban culture centered on Calle Ocho. Explore a Mexican market, cutting-edge Latin art and mariachi music in Los Angeles with flights starting at $87.99. New York (flights from $59.99) is a thriving mix of Puerto Rican, Dominican, Colombian and Mexican culture, hosting parades and events throughout the month. It's a one-stop shop for sampling some of the best of Latin cuisine.

The sale also includes San Antonio (from $68.99)—Tex-Mex central—and Tampa’s lively, Cuban-infused Ybor City (from $54.99). Or head further afield to San Juan (from $108.99) to immerse yourself in Puerto Rican culture.

"We're all about helping our Guests stretch their travel dollars so they can experience new cultures and places more often," said Rana Ghosh, Senior Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer at Spirit Airlines. "Travelers looking to explore the vibrant traditions and cuisines of America's Hispanic cultural hubs can enjoy our high-value travel options to great destinations."

The promotion runs through September 22, so start making those plans now. Fares are valid for travel between October 15 and November 19, and while Spirit is famous for its à la carte approach to flying, these fares make it hard to argue with the value.
