Time Out Tasting Fridays are bringing free tastings to the Market every Friday, giving you one more excuse to clock off, grab some friends and settle in for the evening.
Tastings generally run from 5 pm to 7 pm, with a rotating lineup of local drinks makers pouring samples.
First up is Please Bev Co., appearing September 18 and 25 and October 2 and 9, with Mango Sticky Rice Please and Green Tea Lemon Mint Please on tap, plus non-alcoholic Grapefruit Paloma Please and Classic Margarita Please.
From October 16 through November 6, Mount Pleasant Vintage & Provisions takes over with three drinks, each available in alcoholic and non-alcoholic versions, including a frozen Vietnamese coffee. The November 6 tasting runs a little later, from 5 pm to 8 pm.
Then 33 Acres steps in on November 13, 20 and 27, with Glass House also popping up on November 21 from 5 pm to 7 pm.
And really, the tasting is just the starting point. Time Out Market Vancouver has a steady calendar of events, pop-ups and social happenings, making it one of the easiest places in the city to turn a quick drink into an entire evening.
Everyone can order whatever they’re craving from the Market’s lineup of kitchens, regroup at the same table and hang out for hours.
