Brand new to yoga, but not sure where to start? Been off the mat for too long, and want a nice re entry into practice? Want to feel confident in an all-levels class? Kick the year off right! This series will serve as an introduction (or reintroduction) to the physical practice of yoga and some of its basic principles. You will learn the basic structures of commonly practiced yoga poses as well as how to use props and modifications to make them more accessible. By the end of the series, you will be well equipped to participate in an all-level class. Aimed at the raw beginner, those with little yoga experience, and those looking for an on-ramp back to their practice. Sundays 1:00-2:15p Jan 11 - Feb 1 Cost: $70. Early Bird $60 through Dec 21.
