Mitchel Bleier is an avid seeker. Unafraid to change and challenge his experiences, he is always on the cutting-edge of yoga’s great innovations. A Renaissance yogi, and considered by many to be a teacher’s teacher, he has deep knowledge in many of yoga’s practices, traditions and arts. Mitchel is a founding Board Member for Sridaiva, an elegant system inspiring optimal health through the Bowspring’s dynamic posture, mindfulness and service. In his over 20 years of experience he has taught workshops, retreats and teacher trainings all over the world, developed a series of DVD’s and started a yoga magazine.

Friday PM: The Essentials Class: 6pm-8pm The Essentials Class is specially designed to build & strengthen common postural functioning that affects our everyday lives. The class teaches the Bowspring through simple movements like standing, stepping, lunging, lowering down, getting up, as well as, accessible ranges of motion.

Saturday AM: The Essential Posture: 12pm-3pm This workshop explores a combination of understanding movement through the Bowspring’s dynamic posture and meditation on the senses. There is discussion on our biology, the nervous system and how our posture affects it. All of these are necessary steps towards true healing and health.

Saturday PM: The Practice Class: 4pm-6pm A fluid, strong and healing practice that requires a good, working knowledge of the Bowspring posture. This class is a dance through the many distinct Bowspring poses, transitions and playful movements.

Sunday PM: Stepping Forward: 2pm-5pm This workshop explores a deeper look at using the Bowspring Practice as a regular way to practice. It builds on your understanding from the Essential Posture workshop and goes through an experience of the Bowspring Practice’s postures and movements, including going upside down.
