Ananse Kounda Outdooring

Please join us as we formally introduce the children of Ananse Kounda to the community. Help us to support and encourage them in this process and to charge them with the responsibility of being proud and committed members of this community and the Afrikan Diaspora. This event is free open to all family and friends We will be presented both out Ketewa (ages 6-12) and our Rites (13-16) children. Food will be served and there will be a small fundraising marketplace (please come prepared to show support) Great people, Great cause, Great food, Great music!! Come out and celebrate the youth with us!! Ananse Kounda’s mission is to provide a structured means of support and reinforcement for families in their commitment to the growth and development of our youth within the context of family and institutional development, and cultural reclamation. Our focus is to provide cultural education and immersion, practical skills training, and character-development support that will ensure that our children grow to become powerful, contributing members of the diasporic Afrikan community
