WHO: Anthony Bourdain
WHAT: Close to the Bone Tour
WHEN: Saturday, July 11th, 8 p.m.

Chef, author, and raconteur Anthony Bourdain is best known for traveling the globe on his stomach, daringly consuming some of the world’s most exotic dishes on his hit TV shows PARTS UNKNOWN on CNN, ANTHONY BOURDAIN: NO RESERVATIONS and THE LAYOVER. Somewhat notoriously, Bourdain has established himself as a professional gadfly, bête noir, advocate, social critic, and pork enthusiast, recognized for his caustic sense of humor worldwide. Now he is sharing his passion around the U.S. with his “Close to the Bone” Tour, where, for only night only, Bourdain spends the evening sharing candid, unyielding insights about his life’s work and travels, including an open question and answer session with the audience.

*BOURDAIN WILL NOT SIGN OR PERSONALIZE BOOKS the evening of the event, except for those customers who purchase a VIP ticket (via the Fox Theatre’s website: a limited number are available), but A Cappella Books will have pre-signed copies of some of Bourdain’s books as well as unsigned copies available for purchase before, during, and after the program.

Anthony Bourdain is a traveling chef, author, and TV host. He’s the author of KITCHEN CONFIDENTIAL: ADVENTURES IN THE CULINARY UNDERBELLY, a New York Times bestseller, A COOK'S TOUR, MEDIUM RAW, and many others. He is the producer and host of Emmy Award-winning NO RESERVATIONS and Emmy and Peabody Award-winning PARTS UNKNOWN, as well as a frequent contributor to cooking shows and a frequent guest on late night talk shows.
