However, that is exactly what this film does. Race: The Power of an Illusion prompts us to question the validity of race as a biological fact. This documentary explores the science of race and challenges long-held assumptions that human diversity can be lumped into a few paltry categories. In part two of the film "The Story We Tell" prompts the question: Hasn't race always been with us? Explore the roots of the race concept, including the 19th-century science that justified it and how it gained such a hold over our minds.
