Atlanta Pit Bull Parents Presents "Stroll For The Love Of Our Pit Bulls " says
We would like to welcome you to the Atlanta Pit Bull Parents' pit stroll. We want to give us all a chance to get together with our pit bulls, and their friends, and get to know each other, while exercising and socializing our dogs, and sharing with our community what wonderful dogs we have, and what wonderful, responsible pit/pet parents we are. This will be an easy to moderate walk through the Virginia Highlands/Atlanta Beltline in downtown Atlanta. Please keep this in mind in considering if this is an appropriate walk for your dog. There will be most likely alot of us participating that morning, as well as Sunday afternoon walkers and joggers, families, brunch goers, and other parents walking their dogs. We want these people in our communities to want to come meet our dogs, because of this we are asking that you bring only your dogs that are people friendly. We want to stress that safety is number one priority that day. To insure the safety of us, our dogs, and everyone else, we will be strictly enforcing the following rules for our pit stroll.
1) Spayed/neutered dogs only.
2) NO retractable leashes.
3) At least 5 feet of space between all dogs.
4) Only 1 dog per handler.
5) Anyone handling a dog must be at least 16 years old.
6) Please bring water for you and your dogs.
7) Please bring waste bags.
8) *******If your dog needs extra space, whether reactive or overstimulated and excited because of the fun surroundings and lots of new people and new dogs, please put a yellow or red bandana on their leash, or please come to us and we will provide you with one before the stroll begins. Even the best dogs get anxoius or excited, it is not a negative thing to wear one:) Just means you know your dog so well, or maybe you're still learning about their personality and you want to be extra careful.*********
Thanks!!!
Pittie hugs, kisses and wiggle butts,
Atlanta Pit Bull Parents

I am horrified to read what fakes, phonies and frauds are involved in this group!  People have been villianized for calling for mandating the same rules and regulations in the form of BSL that this group is self imposing for their own safety, that of their Pit Bulls and the safety of others during this walk, in their own words.  If they agree with BSL proponents that these are safety precautions that must be exercised with Pit Bulls, why do they fight BSL?  Why not accord pet breeds the same courtesy they offer to other Pit Bull owners?

YES!   BSL NOW!  We want these rules in place not just for this walk to present a fake and phony front that Pit Bulls are a peaceable breed, but we want these rules in place 24/7 to protect innocent people and pets ALWAYS.

If you can't let a Pit Bull within 5 feet of another Pit Bull with all these other rules in place such as age appropriate handling, and proper leashing, then why don't these Pit lovers come clean about why these Pit Bulls should never be permitted within 5 feet of a pet dog let alone taken to run free among pet dogs in a dog park?

Why are they deceiving the public with self imposed BSL specifications to create a staged image?  If Pit Bulls are that great, why not show the public just how great they really are, dog aggression and dog fights included, the total package?
