Elysia will be presenting her multimedia work, "Dissolution of The Sovereign: A Time Slide Into The Future"
"Dissolution" is a play that unfolds as a DJ production and performance following Aymara revolutionary, Bartolina Sisa's limbs after being severed from their body. It continues from the perspective of the entrails as they turn into stone, petrified on a time slide into a distant future. The work is Elysia's attempt to bridge the Aymara oral history tradition/theater legacy with her own trans, femme abolitionist grasp of futurity amidst the cataclysmic, irreducible horizon of coloniality.

Also appearing this evening is the mysterious percussionist and producer from New York, Gobby. In addition to his own far-flung and fascinating works on DFA and UNO, you might know Gobby from his productions for Mykki Blanco, Abdu Ali, SETH, or remixes for artists like Dan Bodan or Dean Blunt.
