Sopo Bicycle Cooperative says
On March 28th, Sopo Bicycle Cooperative will present Spoons and Spokes, a Chili Cookoff at Wonderroot.
If you think you have a hot chili, feel free to register above for the chance to win a high end used bike from Sopo (valued at over $300 each). We will have three chili categories, Meat, Vegan, and Overall. Chili tasters will each get a vote and the chili cooks with the most votes at the end of the day each get to go home with a new bike to add to the stable.

Individual chili registration will be $20 and will require you to supply at least 1 gallon of chili, your own crockpot, and your own ladle. Included with this chili entry will be 2x tasting spoons ($10 value), 2x beer wrist bands for cooks over 21 ($10 value). Chili cooks will need to arrive at WonderRoot at 6pm on the 28th. Be creative with your presentation and please note any allergens that your chili may contain (gluten, nuts, etc).

Saturday night, chili tasters can show up to WonderRoot and purchase a chili tasting spoon for $5 and beer wrist band for $5 (21+ only). New Belgium will be providing some of their seasonal brews as well as the classics that are great year-round. Tasting starts at 7pm and goes until the chili runs out. Awards will be presented at 9pm.

Money raised from the chili cookoff will go to Sopo to support the Bike!Bike!Southeast conference.

Stick around after the chili is over for the dance party featuring tunes from a VIP DJ.

Be sure to bring a shirt so you can screen print your own BBSE t-shirt. Pre-made shirts and conference art prints will be available for purchase.
