At 7pm, we'll all pile on our bikes and pedal over to Park Grounds cafe, where we can imbibe and enjoy a screening of the legendary Cabbagetown classic Benjamin Smoke. Park Grounds cafe is located at 142 Flat Shoals ave and is a short bike ride from SOPO. The film will start there at 7pm. "An independent film about a true outsider artist, visionary musician and queer diva radical, Benjamin Smoke traverses the poetic final years of Robert Dickerson’s life. Known to his friends as Benjamin, he died of HIV in 2000, but not before fronting an indescribable band that lit up the streets of Cabbagetown with strange, brave and unforgettable music.
