Explore Imagining New Worlds, the newly-opened exhibition of works by Brooklyn-based artist José Parlá and Atlanta-based artist Fahamu Pecou, alongside a retrospective of Wifredo Lam, one of the Surrealist movement's most influential artists. Dive into the world of hip-hop and street art, listen to live music, watch breakdancing performances, chill in the sculpture garden, sip coffee, and take part in creating a huge collaborative chalk piece or making a personalized pocket shrine. Artist Fahamu Pecou is The Sh!T himself will be giving tours at 9 p.m. and 10 p.m., and music by Semicircle starts at 10:30 p.m. Plus, arrive at 7:15 p.m. to get a free ticket to one of Saturday evening's performances.
