Karen has assisted Baron and other Baptiste faculty at more than 15 programs in the United States, Mexico and Kenya. Karen believes that the practice of yoga is an evolving study and full of limitless possibilities both on and off the mat. She is co-founder of a not-for-profit organization, Guyon Rescue, which was formed in 2012 to assist those in need after Superstorm Sandy. Karen has been recognized in her home community and in the State Capital for her philanthropic service.
