Damocles says
At long last the grand word of the Grizzly Neutron is being handed down to humanity in the form of cascading audible ecstasy as could only be brought forth by the Damocles himself. Join us in the new, blacklit Opus 9 room hidden deep in the catacombs of the back of Joystick Gamebar. As are the best things in life, admission is free but capacity is limited. The procession can begin into the chambers by 8:30 and the first act shall start around the hour of 9.

The Damocles suddenly sprung up into the world just over four years ago in the basement apartment of a quadraplex in Atlanta, Georgia. At first, transmissions in to the brain were muddled and hard to comprehend, but with time and patience came the budding art of velvet soundscapes and bodacious beats. Ultimately, the music that sprouts out is the product of obessive anxiety and oustanding hyperactivity. With his last album, Echolalia (Fall 2014), being comprised of sonic waterfalls that drift you into a beautiful oblivion, Grizzly Neutron (1/12/16), promises lush experiences focusing on the quality of separation as it falls into a greater spectrum to create cohesion as seen by no others. Michael Myerz:

A local fiend with a knack for speedy wordplay and unabashed creativity, Michael Myerz is the summation of 90's culture as directed by our fathers before us, without the bogging weight of millenial angst. Prolific as he is promiscuous, his latest release, Garbage Universal, showcased the evolution of hip hop as can only be done by someone not entirely meant to be included in the genre of hip hop or rap. Based out of Nashville, TN, Waterchild's name is as apt to describe his laid back personality as it is to define the flowing, swirling, naturally beautiful nature of his synth-laden beats. Balancing the influences that are so prominent in todays future beat and west coast electronic scene, Waterchild carves his own corner as the meeting of chaos and peace in a satured market much in need of his original takes. Channeling the video game and anime signals sent straight into his brain, Atlanta's Casval blends the theatric feel of classic gaming soundtracks with the moments of today. Jumping between DMG and multi-layered synth pieces, Casval truly feels to be a step ahead in the right direction. Give it a spin at:
