Time Out says

Join us upstairs at Smith's Olde Bar for and evening of music in the veins of the Blues. Davis Coen DAVIS COEN The Memphis, TN~area contemporary country-blues guitarist/singer-songwriter’s most recent accomplishments have been daily airplay on XM/Sirius Satellite radio; inclusion as featured artist twice on Dan Aykroyd’s ‘House Of Blues Radio Hour’; and NPR’s ‘Morning Edition’ and ‘World Cafe’ programs. Also his music is credited on the DVD release of Martin Scorsese’s PBS special ‘The Blues’; the truTV reality TV show ‘Lizard Lick Towing’, independent films ‘Fress Cut Grass’ (2004) and ‘Mental Scars’ (2009); and on the DVD documentary about the music of the Hillcountry Mississippi blues matriarch Jesse Mae Hemphill, titled ‘Dare You To Do It Again’. Coen has been touring the U.S. since his teens, either as a solo guitar and vocal act, or commonly accompanied by bass and drums configuration. He most commonly appears at clubs, bars, and festivals throughout the Southeast and mid-south; of recent note, twice billing at the historic King Biscuit Blues Festival in Helena, Arkansas. He has also enjoyed a dozen tours of Europe, promoting nine album releases. He has shared a bill or opened for many of the classic blues artists who influenced his music; including James Cotton, Junior Wells, Chuck Berry, Bo Diddley, Koko Taylor, Big Jack Johnson, T-Model Ford, and David “Honeyboy” Edwards. He has also shared bills with such non-blues performers as Richie Havens, Mountain, Eric Burdon, Tito Puente and Toots & The Maytals. Skye Paige Skye Paige grew up fast "rawking" the Atlanta, Ga. music scene, and now holds her rein in Charleston, South Carolina, as the Queen of Slide Guitar. Skye guides her listeners on a nostalgic tour of a diverse musical kingdom...in which she rules with steadfast style and a "Slide Guitar." She has the special ability to walk down the dirty dark roads of blues and country music, to driving full speed ahead, up the fast lane of big-city rockabilly and hard rock-n-roll. Paige has opened for National touring acts, such as, Blackberry Smoke, Jackyl, Rebel Son, Southern Culture on the Skids, and the Supersuckers. She has toured, and shared the stage with distinguished blues artist such as Mudcat, Garry Burnside, Lola Gulley, Dash Rip Rock, Danny B. Harvey, and many others. Skye, alone, is such a charismatic performer, that she was featured 24 nights in a row, as a solo act on the "Coney Island Rock-n-Roll Road Show" tour. Skye also performed for 5 years, as a burlesque singing bombshell, in Bizarro Burlesque. She recieved awards, and placed in many Pin up pagents. However, make so mistake, Skye Paige isn't another pretty face fronting a male driven band. She took home first Place in the House of Blues-Battle of the Blues-Myrtle Beach, SC, and is a two time champion of the Crossroads Guitar Compettion, held at the annual Heavy Rebel Weekender Rockabilly Festival . She is the ringleader, lead guitarist, and songwriter of her music. Her songs are real, and so are Paige's twisted tales. Her style is rawnchy, rawkin', rollin', country blues, and She just plain Rules! Skye Paige is "The Queen of the Slide Guitar"!!!
