Dis.closure reveals the relationships between knowing the truth, showing the truth, and finding solace in discovering what is below the surface of humanity. Inkyeoung Baek and Amelia Baxter explore contrasting mediums of oil painting and drawing and collage to find answers through appropriated imagery found in pop-culture, while Abby Bullard illustrates the beauty within the aging process through printmaking. Ena Kadric and Taylor Lee find similarities in their independent quest of self-discovery and identity through forms of digital media. Each work discloses the underlying reality of the human existence within a world run by politics, the media, self-discovery and identity, and the ever-present reality of life and death.

The MINT Internship Program culminates in a group exhibition of their artworks - wholly organized, curated, and installed collaboratively by the participants of the program, from inception to conclusion. This opportunity offers a hands-on, all encompassing learning experience for our interns and also allows them to showcase their own works in a gallery exhibition at MINT.
