Discussion: #Panamapapers says
The Panama Papers are an unprecedented leak of 11.5m files, larger than the US diplomatic cables released by WikiLeaks in 2010 and the secret intelligence documents given to journalists by Edward Snowden in 2013. The documents show the myriad ways in which the rich can exploit secretive offshore tax regimes. Twelve national leaders are among 143 politicians, their families and close associates from around the world known to have been using offshore tax havens.

While obviously controversial and revelatory with respect to the depth and scope of global corruption, the Panama Papers also paradoxically prove to be of no surprise. They merely confirm what many have suspected for years. How are we to live in an era where widespread corruption among global "elites" is taken as commonplace... as merely the natural procession of capital? What (if anything) can be done?

Join us on Sunday as we attempt to understand and work through these issues. This is a public forum and is intended to provide a space for people who would like more information and/or a place for their opinions to be shared.

**Attendees should be prepared to discuss one piece of press (of his or her choosing) related to the topic.**
