Diy Discussion Series: Diy Archiving (Digital And Print)

Wendy Hagenmaier (Georgia Tech Digital Collections Archivist) and Mandi Johnson (Georgia Tech Visual Materials Archivist) will discuss problems, theories, and methods in digital and print archiving--including how these can be applied to DIY archival efforts. Possible topics include: what value systems are used to identify materials for preservation, what role does technology have in knowledge circulation, what does it mean to preserve material integrity, and how does archival work affect knowledge production This is an open forum discussion! Any/everyone is strongly encouraged to participate. Coffee and pastries provided for a small donation! Funds directly support The Low Museum and Murmur.
