Atlanta Bicycle Coalition says
Have a favorite cycling kit you love to wear when you bike? This #EverydayBiking is for you! July’s theme for the national People for Bikes #EverydayBiking challenge is Lycra or other spandex—shorts, jerseys, kits, etc.

Last month, Atlanta climbed to the #3 spot. Whether you’re riding solo or with your cycling group, join us and help Atlanta accelerate right to the top of this month’s rankings!

RIDE: Ride through the section of the 10th St. two-way, protected bike lane that runs along Piedmont Park from Monroe to Charles Allen Dr. anytime between 4:30 and 5:30pm, Thursday, July 30 to be counted in the tally.

TALLY: To top this month’s ranking, Atlanta needs the highest ratio of people on bikes wearing Lycra or other spandex—shorts, jerseys, kits, etc.—out of our total tally for the hour. Help Atlanta take this month’s title; ride through and be counted!

RALLY: Hang out with us, swap #EverydayBiking stories and cheer on fellow everyday cyclists as they ride the cycle track. While supplies last, we’ll be giving away reusable bags from Trader Joe's—Midtown. Inside, you’ll find swag from Atlanta Bicycle Coalition, Soulflowers and Chipotle Mexican Grill
