Fare Thee Well Foundation 2016 Mardi Gras Ball says
It's time once again to put those winter blues aside and turn your world purple, green and gold! The Krewe de Joi at the Fare Thee Well Foundation cordially invites you to the 8th Annual Fare Thee Well Foundation Mardi Gras Ball. This year’s soiree will take place at Aisle 5 in Little Five Points on Saturday, February 6, 2016.

Paying tribute to Allen Toussaint:
In addition to being the usual over-the-top Funkfest, this year's FTW Mardi Gras Ball will be a musical tribute to late, great Allen Toussaint, who passed away back in November of 2015. If you aren't familiar with Allen, his tremendous body of work and its immeasurable impact on not only New Orleans music but "American Pop" music as a whole, do yourself a favor and spend some time on the Google machine. The list of tunes that Allen wrote, performed and/or produced is top quality and a mile long. You're going to love what each band is doing to pay homage.

Horn section at large:
We did this at our 2015 kids music camp and the outcome was nothing short of stupendous! So we're letting the grownups play. The Madman Brass Band, made up of Bryan Hall, Scott Mecredy, et. al., will be sitting in throughout the night to glorify, electrify, amplify and demystify the sweet sounds coming from the Aisle 5 stage!
