Time Out says

The DooGooD Society proudly announces an art showing. The featured artists Tributary, Brandie Glenn, Elvis Thompson, and Doog Becker. This event is part of the First Friday Featured Artist, which is funded by The DooGooD Society. Tributary: My goal thru artwork is to contribute – beauty, ideas, creativity. My techniques and mediums vary based on an idea, I'll utilize the kitchen sink if needed. The most successful pieces of art are often given, created as gifts. Brandie Glenn: Painter, photographer, and digital artist. Artist page: Brandie Glenn Photography page: www.vermilionsoulphotography.com Elvis Thompson: I am and will always be an artist. Good or bad depends on the point of view. I am a former photo-journalist for Prick Tattoo and was the editor of Xcitement Magazine, I've been published in several magazines, locally, nationally, and internationally and often don't know why other than I was just willing to submit work. I've showcased my work all over the southeast and run one of Atlanta's biggest EDM clubs. I was stung by the scorpion a few times and still survived, different but alive. I was a cop and a preacher, I've been convicted of my morals, faith and even the law. I'm simple yet confounding. I am what I am. I don't fit within the framework of what most people understand but I'm not a bad person, I just look that way. I don't ride the rail because I chose it, it is where I was destined to be just like you are placed where you want to be, the difference is I don't judge you for it and ask you to justify your choices. That being said, I like the chasm between heaven and hell. DOOG: I have always loved art, I have always made art, I have always supported the arts, I used to be an artist, I do not consider an artist anymore. I will be showing art from my past. The art in past I am calling my caterpillar art. For years I feel like I have been hibernating artistically. This show might be the first crack in the cocoon and I may emerge soon. I will be showing, paintings, photos, sculptures, and other various mixed media pieces. Doors open at 9pm. Please donate at the door. FREE Parking, FREE Libations, Snacks and FREE Raffle Ticket. Must be 21 to attend. For More information about The Doogood Society follow this link- https://www.facebook.com/TheDoogoodSociety
