Warm up , slow down, and work out the knots in an hour and a half experience of nuturing practices with yoga instructor, Katherine Russ. Active and passive (vigorous yang & restorative yin) practices work in harmony in combination with the specialized acupressure of myofacial release techniques to support a dynamic shift to wellness. What a great way to prepare our bodies for the winter! Enjoy some detox flow movements before floating to the floor to address kinks and knots that form in the fascia (tissue that wraps around the muscles) from inactivity and repetive stress from driving and computer work that can make stretching and movement more challenging.
*This workshop is suited for all levels.
Recommended accessories:
A yoga mat & blanket. Yoga blocks & eye pillow (optional).

Katherine Russ was born in Los Angeles and was inspired in her early twenties to adopt Raja Yoga ("Royal Yoga") as her lifestyle while working in Santa Monica as a personal assistant to an unusually mentally and emotionally powerful actor. She has been teaching yoga in Portland, Oregon where she has received two teacher trainings for the last 7 years. She has made Atlanta her new home as she enjoys traveling and sharing her strong background in holistic wellness, which includes asana (poses), hasta vinyasas (special therapeutic movements), pranayama (beathing), mudra (healing hand and body positions), meditation, energy healing (Reiki), vegan diet, Eastern science, and philosophy with friends and followers globally.
