Full Moon Lunatics In Piedmont Park says
The next full moon is Wednesday, March 23rd.
It's a Full Worm Moon – As the temperature begins to warm and the ground begins to thaw, earthworm casts appear, heralding the return of the robins. The more northern tribes knew this Moon as the Full Crow Moon, when the cawing of crows signaled the end of winter; or the Full Crust Moon, because the snow cover becomes crusted from thawing by day and freezing at night. The Full Sap Moon, marking the time of tapping maple trees, is another variation. To the settlers, it was also known as the Lenten Moon, and was considered to be the last full Moon of winter. Watch out for those wormholes!
We're predicted to have a 20 percent chance of rain with partly cloudy skies, with a low around 53, after a high of 75. Sunset is at 7:51 pm and moonrise is at 8:14 pm. The moon will be full at 8:01 a.m. Cross your fingers and toes that we have a nice night!

The Lunatics will gather to catch the sunset and moonrise, beginning about 7 pm. Please note the “summer” time of arrival.
We Lunatics meet on Oak Hill in Piedmont Park. It's just inside the park off 10th Street, across from where Taft intersects 10th Street.

Bring a chair and/or a blanket, something to eat, something to drink, someone, and something to share, if you like. Come spend time with wonderful friends, old and new, enjoying nature and the urban life. Some hardy souls may stay until 11 during the summer, but only ‘til maybe 9 when it’s cold.

Love and hugs!
