Aussie Geoff Achison lived in Decatur for a time in 2007, 2008 - this is his homecoming show. Along with the incomperable Randall Bramblett, these two super-musicians combine their virtuosic talents to make one of the best live bands! They simply soar with the razor-sharp rhythm section of Michael Steele and Seth Hendershot backing them up. Also announcing we'll have Nick Johnson on Guitar as well! It’s a wonderful example of what can happen when two great musicians and songwriters put aside their egos and join forces. This band grooves so supremely it’s like they’re telepathic, and with their history, why wouldn’t they be? They’ve played with Widespread Panic, The Band, The Allman Brothers, Steve Winwood, Hot Tuna, NRPS, Chuck Leavell, Delbert McClinton and more.

About Randall Bramblett: Randall is an example of the exceptional quality of Southern musicians. Born in Jesup and living in Athens, he's been on big stages since the 70's and still going strong. He landed on the speed dial of some of the greatest names in rock history, including Steve Winwood/Traffic (16 years), Levon Helm, Warren Haynes, Delbert McClinton. He’s certainly still well sought after – recently he’s been found playing with Steve Winwood and Widespread Panic at the Lockn’ Fest, The Allman Brothers at the Beacon Theater, on a CD and tour with Bonnie Raitt, and the Warren Haynes Xmas Jam.

About Geoff Achison: Equal parts New Orleans Funk, driving Blues, jazzy Soul and outback Mojo, this is southern blues/roots music from the very deepest South – Australia. He’s released 12 CD’s and 2 DVD’s, the latest celebrating 20 years with his band. Voted one of the “Top Ten Hottest New Guitarists” by Guitar Player Magazine in 2011! He followed that up with making the “Top 100+ Guitarists You Should Know” roster in 2012. He’s been a 16 year Guest Guitar Instructor at Jorma Kaukonen's Fur Peace Guitar Ranch and an exciting festival favorite. Featured on PBS, NPR and CNN.
